C.A. BC Gupta, a strategic, analytical Finance Professional having proven leadership qualities and over 20 years of impressive success in Financial Management & Control and Administrative roles, managing Finance, Taxation, Legal, Administration, IT & Business Excellence departments in multinational and multicultural environment. He leveraged on skills in accounting, budgeting, cost control and cost reduction, business planning, developing budgeting forecasting tools, fund & non-fund based facilities, bank negotiations, debtors monitoring and control. 

After providing 3 years consulting services, in the area of taxation, accounting, audit, project finance, Secretarial and IPO, BC Gupta joined GEODIS in 2001, and promoted to Head of Finance in 2007, after successfully holding four key positions in finance department and implementing various projects for the company. In 2012 he was elevated to the board of directors, and assumed the role of Financial Director of GEODIS India.

Following are the key highlights of his career: - 

• Managed migration from “Tally” to “Globe”, 3 months before deadlines, to achieve transparent and live accounting environment, 
• Accelerated the month-end closing process to the 2nd working day of every month; provided timely and accurate financial reports on operating entities and WIPs
• Restructured the accounting department into an efficient and productive entity.
• Established and implemented internal control disciplines throughout the entity to maintain integrity and accuracy of financial reports
• Conceptualizing and delivering of profit and loss account, KPIs for each business units and business head
• Continuous reduction in overdue ageing, by implementing of effective credit control procedures and sharing accurate and latest data to various stakeholders.
• Success in transfer pricing litigation on management fees cross charged by holding company, by inclusion of guidelines issued in international parlance, having a multi-million dollar impact
